Welcome

Well, we made it. And despite the barrage of warnings about our imminent deaths upon setting foot on South African soil, we are two days in and both still alive.

So, this is our blog, through which you can follow both Charlie's and Jamie's views on their experiences. Though we are not expecting a gargantuan following, we are both quietly confident that this blog will easily outshadow the rival summer blog established by Kieran and that many of you will be glued to your computers just waiting for our latest posts.

Various excursions, such as safaris, may keep us from the internet at points, but don't panic: we shall endeavour to update everyone on our exploits at appropriate, regular intervals.
